Monday, August 2 2:00pm - 4:00pm The Cypress Creek EMS Communications Center sponosred by

The Cypress Creek EMS Communications Center dispatches for 16 fire and EMS agencies in the unincorporated area surrounding Houston Texas. These agencies are combination paid and volunteer or volunteer departments. The dispatch service area covers over 400 square miles of Harris County Texas and a population of over 1 million people. We began operating in our new facility on April 1, 2009. We currently dispatch about 50,000 calls per year. We utilize UHF and 800 MHz radio systems. It’s a great way to see how a group of volunteer agencies have pooled resources and created a state of the art communications facility.
